WALKING NETBALL
A slower paced version of the traditional game, Walking Netball. England Netball developed Walking Netball to make the sport more accessible to people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels.
An ideal sport for participants who a looking to stay active without the intensity of the full speed game. Core elements of the netball game still exist but the rules have been modified so that all players walk instead of run.
It has been a popular choice for many participants who do not wish to compete in a full netball game, as well as providing an option for those netballers recovering from injury, as well as older players who are still looking to participate in the sport they love but at a slower place.
Walking Netball has allowed many members to improve their physical health, enjoy gentle competition whilst connecting with others in a welcoming and sociable environment.
